About
The BC Civil Liberties Association was established in 1962 and is the oldest and most active civil liberties group in Canada. We are funded by the Law Foundation of B.C. and by citizens who believe in what we do.
The BCCLA is an autonomous, non-partisan charitable society. Though we strive to work cooperatively with other groups on common causes, we are unaffiliated with any other organization or political group including the Toronto-based Canadian Civil Liberties Association. Our independence has been one of the BCCLA’s enduring strengths for over 40 years.
The BC Civil Liberties Association has been working on a number of important National Security issues. This blog will be an updated news source for what the Association is working on in the National Security area, including our litigation, policy work, and thoughts on current events related to our projects.
Check back often to see the latest, or subscribe to our RSS feed to have it delivered directly to you.

Wow, am I ever glad you have sent this request. Unfortunate about the delayed response. I am very low income and yet when I can I will make a one time donation. If you need a petition signed or a supporting letter written please let me know.
Sincerely
